Correspondent - Smt Indira Garu
Smt Indira garu has brand name for many house-hold families to discipline children by the phrase “ I will inform Indira madam if you are not doing homework” by Shadnagar parents. With decade long stay and returning from overseas in 2012, hundreds of satisfied parents came to meet and greet Indira madam for her sacrificial work towards Deepika School. Indira madam is the backbone of Deepika education society to be number one position since its inception.
After a brief service as congress Mahilamandal president of Shadnagar town in 1983-84 and other community works in and around shadnagar, Mrs. Indira’s beloved baby child departed to eternity in 1983. In remembrance of soul, Deepika primary school was started to educate local children in English medium and to see Baby Deepika in their lives. With that motto, Indira madam has taken care of each student as her child through these years.
By frequent visit to each class she ensures that the high standard of academics she sets, lesson plan deliveries are being met consistently throughout the school. She clearly states goals and expectations for Students, Staff in regular assembly sessions. Proactive development of dull students is initiated and monitored on quarterly basis. In her teaching methodology, the system of education cannot remain static. Thus Mrs. Indira madam endeavours to prepare children for a world which is becoming more and more complex by the day. The emphasis is on all round development through a process of probing, questioning and analyzing.
